Writing term papers: The most hated writing of all?
What is it about writing term papers that strikes fear into the hearts of almost everyone? Is it the knowledge that judgment (in the form of a grade) is eminent? Is it the often dry subject matter? Or is it simply not knowing where to begin?
The best way to begin that will keep the process from being too harrowing is to pick a topic you love. Not an option, you say? Maybe you're just not being creative enough. You may not love learning about the strength of the US economy. But do you love soccer? Can you link the two topics in some way? (We can!)
The point is that writing five or 10 or 20 pages about you have absolutely no interest in is a fruitless endeavor. Even we aren't wild about writing just for writing's sake, believe it or not! But once you find a personal connection to the subject matter, the rest becomes much, much, easier.
Writing term papers is also much easier once you know how to do this!
